The June 2025 survey hosted by Macsteel Online Shop will commence on Monday the 9th of June 2025 at 10:00am and conclude on Tuesday the 17th of June 2025 at 10:00am.
Take 2 minutes to fill out our survey and stand a chance to win 1 of 5 Takealot vouchers, each to the value of R500.
How to Access the Survey Link
The survey link will be provided in the competition email which will be sent to all users who have registered on and have active access to Macsteel’s Online Shop. The link will also be provided on a banner, only shown to users who are logged in.

Competition Terms & Conditions
By participating in this survey, all participants agree to the below Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to individuals who are registered users of the Macsteel Online Shop: www.shop.macsteel.co.za; including both Macsteel cash customers and Macsteel account holders. Please note: All Macsteel account holders must have their accounts in good standing to be eligible to win.
- Participants must be 18 years or older and reside in South Africa.
- All employees, directors, members, partners and family members of Macsteel Service Centres SA (Pty) Ltd inclusive of Macsteel Service Centres, as well as those of any Macsteel Express store are excluded from this competition and are not eligible to win any prizes in this competition.
How to Enter
- To enter, participants must complete the online survey in full, providing complete and relevant responses to all questions.
- Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
- To be entered into the prize draw, participants must provide their full name, email address, and a valid contact number at the end of the survey. Participants who do not provide these details will not be eligible for the prize draw.
Competition Period
- The survey will be open from 9 June 2025 and will close at 10h00 on Tuesday, 17 June 2025.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
Prizes
- Five (5) winners will each receive a Takealot voucher valued at R500.
- The first five (5) names to be drawn will win the prizes. Participants can only qualify to win 1 of the 5 prizes. Should a participant's name be drawn twice or more times in the lucky draw, subsequent occurrences will be forfeited and another name will be drawn.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
- Prizes will be delivered digitally via email to the winners.
- The Takealot vouchers are issued and managed by Takealot (Pty) Ltd. Macsteel is not responsible for the availability, delivery, or quality of the vouchers or any issues arising from their use. Any queries or concerns regarding the vouchers must be directed to Takealot.
Winner Selection and Announcement
- To ensure fairness, Macsteel may assess the completeness and relevance of responses when determining eligibility for the prize draw.
- Winners will be selected via a random draw from all eligible entries.
- The draw will take place on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, and winners will be contacted by Macsteel on the 17th of June.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 2 working days, Macsteel reserves the right to draw a replacement winner.
- By entering this competition, all participants consent to their name, surname, company name and city/town to be published on Macsteel’s Online Shop should they win.
Use of Feedback
- Feedback provided in the survey may be used by Macsteel for internal analysis and service improvement. Individual responses will remain confidential and will not be published or shared publicly without consent.
General
- Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Macsteel reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.Macsteel reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, contains inappropriate content, or is suspected of fraudulent activity.
- Macsteel reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
- By entering the competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and improving the Macsteel Online Shop experience, in accordance with Macsteel’s Privacy Policy.
- Macsteel shall not be held liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this competition where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Macsteel will not be held liable for any technical issues, including but not limited to, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries due to system errors or internet connectivity issues.
- In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, Macsteel’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- This competition is hosted by Macsteel Service Centres SA (Pty) Ltd and is only applicable to the Macsteel Online Shop: www.shop.macsteel.co.za.
